A pioneering piece of new media art, the Electrionic Chronicles is a web-based project and a physical book that Adrianne's thesis at The School of Visual Arts in 1995 for an MFA in Computer Arts. This work is a site report, with keystone documents, detailing a future excavation of Man-Hat-10. The work reveals archaic, non-sequential observations and interpretations of modern architecture, language, and civilization. Links between stories and images in these electronic documents are utilized as absences, lapses, synapses, indicating what is inexpressible or interactively assumed by the viewer and/or reader. These writings and electronic records exist in electronic literature formats as well as “mummified” editions.
